I knew this song beforehand and was happy to see it being played on Degrassi. I actually like the song a lot.  But I also love this scene in which Maya finally gets Cam to loosen up and have fun. They were just so perfect together in this scene. It really help cement the idea that I like them as a couple. Plus, Cam/Dylan singing was just dkjsdfljk adorable!

Favorite Awkward Moment / Fight Scene  | Clare’s Party
The fact that the “Boyz of Buzz” are interacting in this scene is just one of the reasons why I love it. Also, I absolutely loved Jake throwing that guy to the table. Even when I saw it I thought it was pretty kick-ass. Gotta love Clare-Katie tag team, as well as Katie on Luke’s back. lol. The Dave/Alli bit was cute too.

Scene that Made You Cry | KC Leaving
Just looking back on it makes me want to cry all over again! KC is a character that I have always loved. He may have lost his way and made stupid mistakes time to time, but I never loved him less for it. I completely understand why he had to leave. He’s being a man and putting his family - mom - first. I just hate how abrupt it all felt. One day he’s matchmaking with Bianca and the next he’s hugging all the Minor Niner crew and gahhh! That hug just kills me! They finally all started talking and acting as friends again, like in the earlier seasons, and KC just had to leave! I’m just glad that when KC left, he was on a good track. He was back to being the bright KC with hell of a future ahead of him. Miss him still though! <3

Favorite Storyline | Cam’s
Even though Cam is one of the new characters that we were introduced to this season, he’s quickly become a character I’ve grown to care deeply about. Cam already has such a complexity about him. He’s socially awkward; he’s nervous around girls (namely Maya and can we really forget about “Do you wanna get out of here, go get some sex?”) and at first felt pressured to act a certain way in-front of his teammates (towards Tristan). And then he has anxiety and depression. Here’s someone who is miles and miles away from his family and feels so alone. Here’s someone who has his whole life dedicated towards a sport that he doesn’t really like all that much. Here’s someone that has deliberately made himself sick and broke his arm. The boy is a mess and you just want to give him a big ol’ hug.

What Team Are You On? | Team Clare
Although she wasn’t one of the promoted teams [ie: Bianca vs Katie or Eli vs Becky], most likely because Clare was the victim of a serious crime (and there really shouldn’t be anyone taking Asher’s side in this situation), she still was a part of a few other showdowns during this half of the season. None of the other “teams” seemed to be as important as this one, imo. She was a character that needed the support throughout the whole summer season. And I supported her through all the mayhem she went through. Of course moments like when she took the pictures of herself, I just wanted to shake some sense into her, however not even the negatives could get me to switch to whatever opposite “team” she was facing at the time, being it Dallas or even Connor (both parties had some faults in each situation). Team Clare may not have been an official “team,” but I still rooted for her every week.

FAVORITE SEASON 12 CANON SHIP | Eli & Clare [Eclare]
From “I am all in” to “Forever and always” these two were just adorable. I loved seeing how their relationship was this time around. They were more patient and understanding with each other. It was the subtle things — like them waking up the morning after they fell asleep talking to each other on the phone and Eli watching Clare dance — that did more for me than all the kisses. (Though, those are more than welcomed!) And just to add that we finally got both Eli and Clare telling each other that they love each other just made it all completely blissful.

SCENE THAT MADE YOU LAUGH | Stuff Clare Says Video
To say I merely laughed at this would be an understatement. I was nearly rolling on the floor, laughing my ass off. Just add some tears and there you go!

FAVORITE EPISODE | Waterfalls Pt. 2
It was just one of those episodes that kept me interested from the beginning to the end. Aislinn’s acting in this was superb and heart-wrenching. The eclare moments in the very beginning and at the end were endearing. It’s just too hard not to love Cam & Maya and their first kiss was so sweet. KC and Bianca matchmaking and friendship was just the right humor needed for this episode. Just an amazing episode!
